Mother’s Day is right around the corner. If you’re looking for ways to celebrate Mom or the mother figures in your life, we’ve got you covered.

🪁 Gaze up as kites fill the skyline at the Tulsa Wind Riders 32nd Annual Festival of Kites May 9-10. Free.

🎭 Take your mom to see a play and watch “The Wiz” at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center. Recommended for ages 8 and up. Prices vary.

💐 Get her approval on flowers (before you buy them) and shop for fresh produce at the Tulsa Farmers’ Market from 7 to 11 a.m. Saturday. 

📚 Moms, you can bring your kids to the Hardesty Regional Library Saturday for K-Pop Demon Hunters Fest. Enjoy crafts, music and a photo booth. Free for all ages.

🐈 Expand your family by adopting a new pet and meeting local teen entrepreneurs during the Route 66 pet adoption event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Mother Road Market.

🧑‍🎨 Get creative and make a stained glass piece of art from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at Agitsi Stained Glass in west Tulsa. Tickets start at $44.52.

🛍️ Shop local vendors selling coffee, jewelry and more at the Mother’s Day Pop-up Market at Handmade in Broken Arrow from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. 

🧘 Sip mimosas, do yoga and experience a sound bath at Namaste for the SPCA at the Hotel Indigo from 1 to 6 p.m. Saturday. Must be 21 and older. Prices vary with proceeds benefitting the animal shelter.

🖼️ See the works of over 40 artists from Oklahoma and beyond featured in Underground Gallery House’s “Connection” exhibit from 1 to 6 p.m. Saturday. Free but reservations required.

🍿 Treat yourself to a film and some popcorn at Circle Cinema, Tulsa’s nonprofit theater. If you’re an educator, you’re in luck: You can see a movie for free through May 10 as part of Teacher Appreciation Week. 

💃 Dance to some live music, drink cocktails and build-your-own bouquet at The Bellview’s Mother’s Day Brunch from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday. Ticket prices vary.

🌺 Join the Mother’s Day Garden Party at the Tulsa Botanic Garden from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Sunday. General admission for 16 and older is $10 and $5 for 15 and under.
