Soccer will soon take over North America as the 2026 FIFA World Cup kicks off June 11 and runs through July 19.
The World Cup will feature 104 matches spanning across Canada, Mexico and the U.S., with 48 teams competing. Teams will compete in cities within driving distance of Tulsa, including Arlington and Houston.

When does the 2026 FIFA World Cup kick off?
The games kick off at 2 p.m. June 11, when Mexico takes on South Africa. The next game is set for 9 p.m. that same day with South Korea competing against Czechia.
When does the U.S. team play?
The U.S. team will play its first game at 8 p.m. June 12 against Paraguay. A week later, the team will take on Australia at 2 p.m. June 19. Their third game is set for 9 p.m. June 25 against Turkey.
When will the Mexican team play?
Mexico’s first game is on June 11 against South Africa — the opening match to the World Cup.
The team will compete again at 8 p.m. June 18 against South Korea. Their third game is set for 8 p.m. June 24 against Czechia.
Where to watch in Tulsa
Local sports bars will play the games on their screens, with some local restaurants and organizations hosting watch parties throughout the span of the World Cup.
Empire Bar
Tulsa’s Empire Bar, a local soccer-themed bar, will show the games starting with the opening matches June 11. The bar, located at 1516 S. Peoria Ave. in the Cherry Street area, is open from 3 p.m. to 2 a.m. daily.
George’s Pub
George’s Pub in Jenks, located at 108 N. 1st St., will be open and showing games. The bar opens from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Monday through Saturday, with it opening at noon on Sundays.
Elgin Park
Downtown’s Elgin Park plans to play every single World Cup game throughout June 11 to July 19. The bar is located at 325 E. Reconciliation Way and open daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Rabbit Hole Bar
Rabbit Hole Bar will show every Mexico and U.S. match throughout the World Cup with the bar showing the opening match at 2 p.m. Thursday. The bar is located downtown at 116 S. Elgin Ave.
Courts & Commons
Courts & Commons is a micro food hall with indoor pickleball courts located at 7921 E. 119th Drive in Bixby. They will show all World Cup games. Open daily from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., the food hall will stay open late on game days.
New Story Brewing
New Story Brewing will showcase every World Cup game throughout June and July. The brewery is located downtown at 601 E. 4th St. They will have specials during the U.S. games.
R Bar & Grill
R Bar & Grill on Brookside plans to show World Cup games. They plan to open early or even stay open late for games as well. They’re located at 3421 S. Peoria Ave.

Mother Road Market
- What: Mother Road Market will host a watch party for the first U.S. game. They plan to stay open late.

Fassler Hall
- What: Fassler Hall and FC Tulsa will partner up to host a watch party for the first U.S.A. game. They will give jerseys away and have happy hour specials ahead of the party from 4 to 7 p.m. Check FC Tulsa’s social media for other parties.

918 Maples and FC Tulsa
- What: The 918 Maples restaurant and FC Tulsa are partnering up to host a watch party for Mexico’s third game against Czechia. Check FC Tulsa’s social media for other parties.

Que Gusto
- What: Ecuadorian-inspired restaurant Que Gusto will host three watch parties for the Ecuador games. You can register to attend online for $25.

Holy Family Cathedral
- What: Tulsa’s oldest Catholic church and school will host a FIFA World Cup watch party for the U.S. v. Paraguay game. The church has reached capacity on this event.
- Time: The party starts at 7 p.m., with the game kicking off at 8 p.m.
