Students at Tulsa Tech’s Peoria Campus will finish the year elsewhere after the March 6 storm severely damaged the academic building.
Damage to the roof, interior and surrounding areas closed the north Tulsa campus to about 550 students this week. After spring break, all students and 55 staff members will resume classes on other Tulsa Tech campuses.
“Tulsa Tech Administration, along with the instructors and staff from the Peoria Campus and our other campuses, have worked tirelessly to find areas to accommodate students for the rest of the academic year,” said spokesman Jeffrey Kemper.

Many of the Peoria programs will move to Broken Arrow and Owasso campuses, but “all campus sites are being utilized,” Kemper said. Class sizes are expected to remain the same and similar programs will be kept together at new locations, he said.
Tulsa Tech asks high school students to contact their home district’s transportation team for details on new bus routes. All students should have received email communication about their new assignment Friday, according to Tulsa Tech.
All Tulsa Tech classes will resume March 23.
